Happy MAY, friends!
It finally feels like we’ve turned a corner here in New England, and it sure is a welcome change. We can once again walk outside without wearing a parka and mittens, and, looking down, we’re starting to see budding flowers instead of snow.
Cause for celebration? We certainly think so.
This month’s #MBM images take all those May feels (abundant sunshine! fresh flowers! longer days!) and packs them into a mood board that communicates – without words – what we’re feeling as summer 2018 begins. With one quick glance we’re transported to a warm, balmy, flip-flopped day — perhaps taking a leisurely bike ride to the farmers’ market produce stand, where we pull out our cloth tote bag and toss in a handful of ripe lemons. On the way home we make a pit stop to harvest roadside wildflowers, stuffing them into the pocket of our shorts. (They will be taken, trimmed, and transferred to their new home inside a mason jar on the kitchen table). And the best way to spend the afternoon? A blanket in the grass, a good book, and some homemade lemonade, of course.
What are you most excited to do during the month of May? Tell us in the comments — we’d love to hear! xo
