Well friends, the longest year of our lives has passed in what at times felt like eternity and at others, an instant. Ok, it never felt like an instant until very recently when we realized that we would, in fact, be moving forward with many of our rescheduled weddings from last year (and for that, we are so grateful) along with our full roster of weddings that were already booked for 2021.
This year is sure to be an adventure, one filled with much unknown. What I do know, though, is that I’m super excited to have these three along the ride! xo
Meet Kayla!
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2019, where I majored in Business and minored in Hospitality Management. My first job was as an accountant and while it was a great job I quickly realized it was not something I was passionate about and decided to pursue a career in wedding and event planning. I am excited to intern at TLT and explore everything event planning has to offer!
What excites you about working for TLT?
I am excited to work with couples and help bring to life their dream wedding. I’m looking forward to seeing how different and unique each wedding is and how all of the details come together for the big day.
What are you looking forward to most during your internship at TLT?
I am most looking forward to building relationships with each client and being able to help bring their special day to life.
What do you like to do in your free time? What are your hobbies?
I like to hike, take walks, and go on adventures with my boyfriend and our dog, Jolee. I also love to go to the beach and read a good book. One of my newer hobbies is snowboarding. I just started learning how to snowboard and now look forward to the winters (whereas previously I was not a big fan).
What lights your fire? What inspires you?
I love helping others achieve their goals and seeing people happy. I believe happiness is contagious, so if you’re able to help make others happy, it will bring you happiness too.
What’s something not many people know about you?
I’m hoping to hike New Hampshire’s 48 4,000 footers within the next year. So far, I only have a few done so it should be interesting to see if I can fit them all in!

Meet Sarah!
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I am a rising senior at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire where I am double majoring in Economics and Fine Arts, with a minor in web design. I am from Braintree, Massachusetts and I have twin sisters named Keegan and Kate who are a year and a half younger than me.
What excites you about working for TLT?
I am so excited to have an internship opportunity where I can exercise my creativity. I am still unsure of the exact career path I want to take, but I do know that creativity is something that I value highly and is something that I want to incorporate in whatever I do. In my creative process I love working with my hands so I am really excited for the design elements of working for TLT.
What are you looking forward to most during your internship at TLT?
I am most looking forward to working with the couples and helping their visions come to life. I am such a sentimental person, so I can’t wait to help make their special day truly special and unique to them. I am excited to be a part of all the small details and meticulous planning that makes the day run seemingly seamless for the couple and guests.
What do you like to do in your free time? What are your hobbies?
I love to read, spend lots of time with friends and family, and go to the beach in the summer. When I am at school, participating in service is a big part of how I spend my free time. I am grateful to have gotten the opportunity to work with and serve so many different populations through campus ministry and the community engagement center at my college.
What lights your fire? What inspires you?
Creating something that brings joy to others. I am happiest when I am deeply invested in an art project and when I am able to help others, whether that be people in my life or those in my community. For me, artistic creation is a way that I can contribute positively to those around me. My friends and family know that they can expect a thoughtfully handcrafted card from me for every occasion 🙂
What’s something not many people know about you?
One of my biggest dreams is to illustrate a children’s picture book.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
“You will never regret being kind.” It can be easy to overthink and even regret your actions, but displaying kindness towards others will never go unappreciated. Whenever I feel lost, I remember these words and I know that valuing kindness as a pillar in my life will help center me.
